Caregiver – Parsippany, NJ A family in Parsippany, NJ 07054 is seeking a warm and attentive caregiver to provide non-medical care and companionship for an older adult. This is a smoke-free home with a peaceful, pet-free environment where the family values compassionate care, engaging conversation, and support with daily routines. Schedule: - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM - Total Hours: 16 hours per week - Start Date: As soon as possible Family Specifications: - Smoke-free home - No pets in the home - Caregiver Interests: Enjoys cooking, watching movies, playing board games, working on puzzles, and engaging in arts and crafts Responsibilities: - Assistance with personal hygiene and daily grooming routines - Light mobility and transfer assistance - Medication reminders - Planning and preparation of nutritious meals - Engagement in recreational activities and companionship (puzzles, games, crafts, movies) - Basic household tasks and light tidy-up related to the care recipient Requirements: - Proven experience in senior care or personal caregiving - Ability to safely assist with light mobility and transfers - Strong meal preparation and cooking skills Compensation: - $20- $30 per hour All candidates will be subject to a background check.
