- Validate software compatibility across Windows, Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), hardware configurations, and network environments.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution using established defect management processes.
- Maintain a centralized repository of known defects, test results, corrective actions, and testing documentation.
- Establish software quality standards and release-readiness criteria to ensure applications meet operational and security requirements before deployment.
- Participate in software design reviews, providing feedback on functionality, usability, testability, and potential technical risks.
- Collaborate with software developers and engineers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve application defects.
- Investigate and troubleshoot software issues reported by field personnel, technical support teams, and government customers.
- Support testing of containerized applications and deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
- Review software documentation, technical procedures, and release materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Support software testing and validation activities within STIG-hardened environments and established Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders and technical teams to communicate testing progress, quality metrics, identified risks, and release readiness.
Required Qualifications
