Head of Finance - Renewable

GEV Wind Power is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Head of Finance to lead the North American finance function. Reporting to the Group CFO, this role will partner closely with operational and executive leaders to provide financial leadership, support business growth, and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The Head of Fianance will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and business performance while leading a team of finance professionals. This highly visible position plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence, financial stewardship, and continued growth throughout North America. - Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of four to six accounting and finance professionals. - Serve as a key member of the North American leadership team. - Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes. - Provide commercial insight to support operational and strategic decision making. - Strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance processes. - Act as a trusted adviser to senior operational stakeholders, providing challenge and support where appropriate. - Support a significant ERP and finance systems transformation initiative. - Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisers, and regulatory bodies. - Oversee US and Canadian tax compliance requirements - Support employee insurance, pension, and corporate compliance activities. - Drive greater consistency and alignment with the wider global finance organization. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and business performance.
