Department: Sales Job type: Full Time, Exempt Who We Are Impiricus is the first and only AI-powered HCP Engagement Engine. In 2025, Deloitte named Impiricus the #1 fastest growing company in North America for their prestigious Fast 500 list. Founded by a practicing physician and a senior pharmaceutical executive, Impiricus was created to transform how life sciences companies support physicians. We ethically connect HCPs to pharma resources, reduce go-to-market costs and accelerate patient access to the treatments they need. With our unique access to the largest opted-in network of HCPs, their insights, and clinical expertise, we are the leading provider of AI technology and real-time channels that life science companies need to deliver clear, reliable, and evidence-based resources directly into the hands of HCPs. Guided by a council of 2000+ trusted HCP advisors, we ensure every interaction is clinically meaningful, ethically grounded and leads to better patient care. Job Summary Impiricus is looking for a VP of Sales to build and lead the go-to-market for Curated, our newest offering for pharmaceutical manufacturer partners. Curated is a structured, compliance-first physician engagement product: a 15-minute video call hosted by DocUpdate, built on our network of 1M+ opted-in HCPs, that pairs a manufacturer with physicians for advisory- and education-focused conversations, with structured feedback and NPI-level insights delivered back to the client. This is a net-new, high-visibility revenue line, and this role owns its sales strategy, pipeline, and results from the ground up — while continuing to grow and deepen relationships with our existing top pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts. You'll bring both an existing network of senior decision-makers at top pharmaceutical manufacturers and the ability to sell a genuinely new category of engagement: one built around fair-market-value compensation, OIG safe harbor compliance, and a physician experience that's advisory and education-first rather than promotional. You will be the primary evangelist for Curated internally and externally, and will build the sales motion, materials, and team needed to scale it. Duties/ Responsibilities: - Own the Curated Go-to-Market: Build the sales strategy, pipeline, and playbook for Curated as a new product line — from initial positioning through signed, scaled client programs. - Revenue Growth: Leverage your network and 10+ years of pharma sales experience to sell Curated and Impiricus's broader platform into top pharmaceutical manufacturers, exceeding sales quotas and driving new business development. - Account Development: Build and grow client portfolios to $5M+ by cultivating and expanding high-value relationships, with a focus on introducing Curated as an incremental line of business within existing and new manufacturer accounts. - Compliance-Fluent Selling: Speak fluently to safe harbor requirements, fair-market-value frameworks, and compliance/legal review processes so that manufacturer compliance, medical affairs, and procurement stakeholders trust Curated's structure from the first conversation. - Key Account & Stakeholder Management: Own key accounts end-to-end — from brand and commercial leadership, to medical affairs, to compliance and procurement — building durable, multi-threaded relationships across the decision-making pyramid. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Data & Insights, and Delivery teams to ensure every Curated engagement is scoped, priced, and executed within safe harbor and FMV guidelines, and that client feedback shapes the product roadmap. - Strategic Thinking: Identify where Curated and the broader Impiricus/DocUpdate platform align with client goals, positioning our capabilities for maximum impact and long-term account growth. - Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and eventually lead a sales function around Curated, establishing repeatable processes, materials, and training as the offering scales. - Negotiation & Presentation: Present with confidence and gravitas to C-suite and senior stakeholders, backed by data-driven insights and a clear command of Curated's compliance and value story. - Forecasting & Reporting: Own pipeline visibility, forecasting, and quota attainment for Curated, reporting progress to executive leadership. Experience: - Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience with a proven record of exceeding quotas and driving transformative growth within an organization. - Demonstrated ability to grow business to $5M+ with top 20 pharmaceutical manufacturers — building new revenue lines, not just managing existing ones. - Experience selling compliance-sensitive healthcare marketing or engagement solutions — advisory boards, peer-to-peer programs, HCP engagement platforms, or similar — is strongly preferred. - Working knowledge of OIG personal services and management contract safe harbor requirements and fair-market-value compensation structures, or the ability to quickly become fluent in them. - Strong existing network of active decision-makers within top 20 pharmaceutical companies, spanning brand/commercial, medical affairs, and compliance. - Strategic thinker, capable of aligning client needs with product capabilities to launch and scale a new offering. - Demonstrated success managing relationships across all levels of client organizations, from C-suite to day-to-day operational contacts. - Prior experience building or scaling a sales team or new product line is a plus. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to present with authority and influence. - Expertise in digital marketing and business development, with a deep understanding of media channels, measurement, and optimization of HCP engagement campaigns. - Proven ability to solve problems with minimal input and operate effectively in ambiguous, build-as-you-go environments. - Self-starter with a "hunter" mentality, capable of owning and growing a business from the ground up. The OTE for this role is $150,000 - 500,000 Where you land within the range will reflect your skills, experience, and location, while keeping team parity in mind and leaving room for future growth.
