HEAD OF BUSINESS

Our client is an agricultural value-chain, innovation-driven company solving problems in Africa, for Africans. They provide products and services within different industries, across 4 continents. - Overseeing strategic and operational delivery activity of the company. - Developing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures. - Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth. - Motivating employees to encourage maximum performance and meet production & delivery targets. - Maintaining and building trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders. - Managing risk and crisis issues. - Participating in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.). - Evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of operational systems, technology and delivery processes. - Identifying improvement areas and overseeing change management initiatives across the business. - Ensuring effective recruiting, professional development, performance management, and retention. - Directing acquisitions and sales of assets to meet organizational goals. - Adhering to all regulatory requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary. - Minimum of a BSc/BA in Business Administration or any related field. - A Masters degree (MBA, M.Sc.) is an added advantage. - Minimum of 10 years working experience in managing complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations, and strategies. - Have a proven experience as Head of Business or related role. - Have understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc. - Have demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.  - Have a working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics, and IT/Business infrastructure. - Have excellent organizational and leadership abilities. - Have aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving. - Have excellent relationship building, presentation and communications skills. - Have the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment. Salary range : N900k - N1.2M Gross Salary Per Month
