Senior Engineer, Identification

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Engineer, Identification based in the United States. The Senior Engineer, Identification will design, build, and operate high-performance backend systems that power real-time identification and online fraud detection capabilities. This role combines advanced software engineering with reliability engineering to ensure APIs remain fast, secure, and dependable as usage scales. You will take ownership of services throughout their lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to production monitoring and continuous optimization. Working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data processing, you will help expand platform capacity while balancing performance, cost, and resilience. You will also strengthen observability, lead incident response improvements, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence. In a fully remote, globally distributed engineering environment, you will collaborate across teams, share technical expertise, and mentor fellow engineers.
