Conservation Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Conservation Director based in the United States. The Conservation Director provides strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of environmental and community-focused initiatives. This role advances conservation efforts across public lands, waterways, oceans, climate, energy, and community engagement, with a strong emphasis on equitable access to nature and community-driven solutions. You will lead a geographically distributed team, oversee complex grant-funded programs, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact within established budgets and timelines. Working closely with executive leadership, funders, government agencies, and community partners, you will strengthen collaborations and identify opportunities for portfolio growth. The position combines team leadership, financial stewardship, program strategy, and operational excellence to support long-term sustainability.
