Peptide Biochemist

PSS® is part of Eurofins Scientific, an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services across multiple industries, through a network of over 950 laboratories in 60 countries, and c.a. 63,000 employees. - Perform peptide synthesis for small scale production - Clean and maintain synthesizers - Execute automated purifications using chromatographic techniques including but not limited to HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS - Prepare buffers and solutions; maintain inventories and lab equipment - Document assay data and contribute to study reports - Operate, program and perform high throughout testing using laboratory automation and liquid handling - Perform experiment documentation/notebook - Assist in any troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation - Develop and maintain knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations - Interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders - Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience - HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, buffer prep, peptide synthesis  - Strong scientific, organizational, and computer skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Clear and effective written and verbal communication - Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented - Able to work independently and collaboratively - Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality data delivery using ALCOA+ principles - Position is full-time, first-shift, Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.  - Base pay is between $23.50 - $25.50.  - LinkedIn: #LI-EB1 Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
