About the role
ExcelProject ManagementCommunication
We’re a ten-time “Best Company to Work For,” where intelligent, talented people come together to do outstanding work—and have a lot of fun while they’re at it. We offer a solution-focused environment full of collaboration and dedication, to our goals and to each other. You’ll have the opportunity to drive your own success in a supportive, globally connected environment. From advanced tools and technology to an immersive company culture, working at Logic20/20 means working on the leading edge, with a community of the right people around you.
Logic20/20 is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support a large-scale business and technology modernization initiative. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and project teams to analyze and document complex business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly organized Business Analyst who excels at translating complex business operations into clear, accurate, and standardized documentation. You will play a critical role in capturing current-state processes, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and ensuring documentation is complete, validated, and aligned with established program standards.
This role is focused on business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation rather than software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document complex business processes, workflows, and interactions across business functions, teams, and technology systems.
- Develop detailed process documentation and system interaction models using established templates, formats, and notation standards.
- Partner directly with SMEs to gather information, understand current-state operations, and validate process documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Schedule and facilitate stakeholder interviews, process walkthroughs, working sessions, and documentation reviews.
- Identify process gaps, inconsistencies, dependencies, and opportunities for clarification, working with stakeholders to resolve outstanding questions.
- Create and maintain process models and supporting documentation using Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word.
- Manage multiple concurrent documentation deliverables, ensuring milestones, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
- Track deliverable status, stakeholder feedback, review cycles, and outstanding action items.
- Collaborate with project managers, business leads, fellow analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to support program objectives.
- Participate in structured governance processes, including deliverable reviews, approvals, change control, and risk and issue escalation.
- Ensure completed documentation is accurate, consistent, and formally validated by appropriate stakeholders.
About You
- You have 5+ years of hands-on business analysis experience, including at least three years of experience within the past seven years.
- You have demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes and system interactions within large organizations.
- You are skilled at developing clear, detailed process documentation and adhering to established client templates, standards, and formatting requirements.
- You have experience independently facilitating SME interviews, discovery workshops, process walkthroughs, and validation sessions.
- You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio, and Teams.
- You are comfortable working within structured project or program governance environments with formal review, approval, and change control processes.
- You have strong organizational skills and can effectively manage competing priorities, multiple deliverables, and fixed deadlines.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation.
- You are analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying gaps, resolving inconsistencies, and escalating risks.
- You thrive in a collaborative consulting environment and can work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of five years of professional, hands-on business analysis experience, with at least three years occurring within the past seven years.
- Proven experience documenting complex business processes and system interactions in large public- or private-sector organizations.
- Experience producing process documentation in accordance with client-defined templates, formats, and notation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and obtain formal validation of completed documentation.
- Experience managing high volumes of concurrent deliverables and maintaining accurate project status tracking.
- Experience working within formal program governance structures, including deliverable acceptance, change control, and issue escalation.
- Experience supporting workers' compensation, insurance claims, benefits administration, or regulatory business processes.
- Experience documenting current-state business processes and system interactions as part of a legacy system replacement or modernization initiative.
- Previous experience supporting public-sector organizations.
- Experience working within a Project Management Office PMO or matrixed environment involving multiple vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders.
- Familiarity with business process modeling methodologies and notations, including swimlane diagrams, BPMN, or similar approaches.
- Professional business analysis certification, such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
- Master's degree in a related discipline preferred
