Store Cleaning Associate

Company Overview Mood Fabrics’ NYC store is seeking a Full time Store Cleaning Associate to oversee day-to-day cleaning and sanitization needs at our store and office space.  The ideal candidate has previous experience cleaning in professional settings, along with an eye for detail and commitment to performing even small tasks thoroughly.  On a daily basis the Cleaning Associate will be responsible for: - Vacuuming carpeted areas - Dust, wipe, and spot clean all surfaces - Sweeping and mopping the offices - Sanitizing all handles and frequently touched surfaces - Cleaning glass doors. - Clean the restrooms by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock restroom supplies as needed, remove the trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, and sweep and/or wet mop floors. - General trash removal and disposal - Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by the store manager and/or Manager. Requirements - At least 2 years professional cleaning experience - Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks on a daily basis - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Comfortable handling multiple tasks at once - Capable of lifting heavy objects including cleaning supplies and tools up to 30lbs unassisted Benefits - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Employee discount - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off
