Information System Security Manager (ISSM)

Our partner is looking for an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) based in the United States. We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to oversee information system security for a U.S. Air Force program in a remote work environment. In this role, you will lead system security planning, risk management, compliance monitoring, and accreditation activities for unclassified Department of Defense (DoD) information systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining system security and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, Air Force policies, and established cybersecurity standards. Working closely with cybersecurity leaders and multi-contractor teams, you will guide security decisions, coordinate audits, and support continuous monitoring initiatives. Your expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF), security controls, and authorization processes will help protect critical systems and maintain operational readiness.
