About the role

B2B SalesRisk Management
About the Team OpenAI's Business Marketing team helps companies understand and adopt our products and platform. The team develops integrated programs for business leaders, technical decision-makers, developers, and enterprise customers across launches, campaigns, brand, content, web and digital experiences, events, customer storytelling, and sales enablement. We work across Marketing, Creative, Product, Sales, Communications, and external partners to turn complex technology into useful, credible stories and experiences. About the Role As the Delivery Lead for Business Marketing, you will own end-to-end production and delivery across the B2B marketing portfolio. This role combines the scope of an executive producer with portfolio delivery and people leadership across creative and digital work. You will be accountable for everything that must ship: turning priorities and briefs into executable plans, assigning the right teams, managing dependencies and decisions, and carrying work through launch and final handoff. You will lead producers and project managers while staying hands-on with the most complex or high-priority work. You will create a clear view of the portfolio, make practical tradeoffs, remove obstacles, and serve as the primary delivery escalation point for internal teams and agency partners. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will - Own end-to-end delivery across the full B2B marketing portfolio, including integrated campaigns, launches, brand and content programs, web and digital experiences, events, customer stories, and sales enablement. - Lead, coach, and allocate work across producers and project managers, with clear ownership, operating standards, and escalation paths. - Personally produce the highest-priority or most complex initiatives and stay close enough to the work to resolve difficult delivery problems. - Turn business goals and creative briefs into executable plans with clear scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, budgets, dependencies, approvers, and definitions of done. - Maintain an integrated view of active and upcoming work so teams can see priorities, capacity, timelines, dependencies, risks, and decisions in one place. - Coordinate reviews, decisions, and handoffs across marketing, creative, digital, product, sales, communications, agencies, and other contributors. - Own agency and production-partner delivery, including scoping, kickoff, working rhythms, budgets, risk management, and performance. - Identify delivery risks early, remove obstacles, make tradeoffs, and escalate the decisions that require senior leadership judgment. - Ensure approvals, usage rights, final assets, source files, and delivery documentation are complete and easy to find. - Build practical production and project-management methods that improve planning, quality, and throughput as the B2B portfolio and team grow. - Provide concise delivery reporting on what has shipped, what is next, what is at risk, and where decisions are needed; lead retrospectives and put agreed improvements into practice. You might thrive in this role if you - Have 10+ years leading a complex, high-volume portfolio of integrated marketing and creative work across both traditional and digital channels. - Bring deep creative-production expertise and a strong command of digital delivery workflows, including web and content experiences. - Have managed and developed both producers and project managers, and know how to build a team as the work scales. - Can turn incomplete briefs, changing priorities, and compressed timelines into clear plans without losing momentum or quality. - Use strong portfolio judgment to sequence work, balance capacity, and make tradeoffs across competing priorities. - Are experienced in managing agencies, production partners, scopes, budgets, and vendor performance. - Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and working teams, and create the conditions for fast, well-informed decisions. - Balance a detailed command of delivery with a systems-level view of how the full portfolio fits together. - Operate as a leader-doer: collaborative, steady under pressure, willing to work through hard details, and biased toward action.
