Syndio is the leading pay governance and compensation intelligence platform. We help organizations make better pay decisions at every stage of the compensation lifecycle, from leveling and offers to promotions and merit. Our platform gives HR, compensation, and finance leaders the data and decision support they need to govern pay fairly, compliantly, and with confidence. We partner with many of the world’s most recognized and respected enterprises, helping them implement leading-edge compensation solutions with expert guidance and analyzing pay for over 10 million employees across the world.
Join us in our mission to help companies make smarter pay decisions they can trust!
About the role
Syndio is the platform more than half the Fortune 100 trust to govern pay decisions, built on a decade of pay equity work and millions of pay records. Executive Engagement & Insights is the team that turns that into research, category leadership, and executive-level experiences elevating pay to a strategic decision rather than a compliance afterthought.
A CHRO or CFO decides to buy our platform once. Inspiring them to feel personally invested in what we’re enabling for their business takes something special, and that is what separates a vendor from a valued business partner. This role exists to help build that.
We're hiring a Director of Executive Engagement to own three things. The first is our Strategic Advisors program, along with an expansion launching later in 2026. You'll onboard advisors, keep them genuinely engaged, and nurture those relationships into outside credibility, introductions that open doors, and sharper strategic thinking. The second is the experience we create for executives among our customers. Working sessions, private briefings, peer roundtables, and executive forum programming that earns time from people who guard it closely and inspire leadership action related to pay governance. The third is our relationships with industry analysts, keeping them informed on Syndio and tapping into their expertise and insights.
You'll report to our SVP of Executive Engagement & Insights and work regularly with our CEO, and the senior leadership team. You'll also work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product to connect them with customer executives, advisors, and analysts in ways that expand opportunities for the business and drive revenue.
Why this job is exciting
- Build the advisor bench. Identify who we need, drive recruiting efforts, and design a sustainable rhythm that keeps senior executives willing to contribute year after year.
- Design what executives remember. Create and continually refine working sessions, briefings, and executive forum programming that changes how a leader thinks about pay.
- Turn access into revenue. Match the right executive to the right moment with Marketing and Sales, and get senior leaders invested before there's a deal on the table.
- Influence at the highest levels. Build relationships with exceptional senior leaders and work directly with Syndio’s senior leadership team.
- Sharpen how we see the market. Industry analysts talk with buyers and vendors all day. You’ll bring what they see back to our leadership team and help influence our plans around it.
About you
- A track record working with senior executives at multi-national enterprises. You've earned time from people who guard it, and held onto it well beyond a single meeting.
- A record of relationships that produced business outcomes. Intros that became pipeline, advisors who influenced a decision, execs who became advocates. You can point to what came of them.
- Strong design instinct. You've built executive experiences and programming content from scratch. While you sweat the details of the room, you always measure the work by the specific value a leader walks away with.
- Influence without authority. You'll partner closely with Marketing and work across Go-to-Market functions and the company leadership team.
Some travel comes with this role and may grow as the programs do.
Nice to have
- Experience running an advisory board, council, or similar program of external experts.
- Facilitation skills. You can run the room yourself when that's the right call.
- Familiarity with how enterprise sales cycles work and where exec relationships help move them.
- Familiarity with industry analyst firms and how they work with vendors.
- Domain knowledge in compensation, total rewards, people analytics, or the finance side of workforce planning.
Why you'll love it here:
- 💰 Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $182,000 -$215,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.
- 🏆 Syndio Equity. So you can share in Syndio’s success.
- 🏝 Flexible Vacation Policy. We encourage our team to recharge when they need to, plus paid sick & safe time, compassion leave, and voting leave.
- Paid parental leave
- 🩺 Medical, Dental, Vision. Syndio pays 90% of employee premiums, and 50% for dependents.
- 🏥 Life Insurance & Disability. Syndio covers the full premium.
- 🏦 401(k). To help you save for your future
- Fully remote model - #LI-Remote
