Part Time Senior Companion – Brookline, MA A thoughtful family in Brookline, MA, is seeking a dependable and organized caregiver to provide weekly companionship, household support, and meal preparation for a fully functional 70-year-old adult. The care recipient lives in a location accessible by public transit, and all errands are within walking distance. The target start date for this position is December 1. Schedule: - Wednesdays, approximately 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM - Approximately 5 hours per week - Family Specifications: - Smoke-free home - Pet-free household - Walking distance to local amenities and public transportation - Values an organized, detail-oriented caregiver who can help structure tasks through to completion - Responsibilities: - Plan, shop for, and prepare 1–2 nutritious meals per week that yield leftovers (from grocery shopping to final storage and full kitchen cleanup) - Perform grocery shopping on foot (either independently or together with the care recipient) - Assist with kitchen organization, including cleaning out the refrigerator - Complete laundry tasks - Provide warm, engaging companionship Requirements: - Proven experience in senior companionship, meal preparation, or home support - Strong cooking and kitchen management skills - Ability to comfortably walk to nearby stores for grocery errands - Fluent in English Compensation: - $25-$30 per hour All candidates will be subject to a background check.
