About KIMARU Talent:
KIMARU Talent is a boutique executive search firm working with startups and growth-stage companies in AI, gaming, technology, and advertising. We take on fewer clients so we can go deeper on each search — real understanding of the role, the team, and what "yes" looks like for both sides.
We're not generalists who'll take any search. We focus on leadership and critical individual-contributor hires — the roles where getting it right changes the trajectory of the startup.
That depth is why most long-term clients give us access to their ATS, Slack, and internal comms. We're not a vendor you check in with weekly. We operate like an internal recruiter with an external network.
About the Company
Our client is an AI-native advertising platform at the intersection of machine learning, programmatic media, and full-funnel mobile growth. The company focuses on measurable business outcomes rather than impressions, and it has compounded growth quarter over quarter since 2024. In Korea, revenue has grown roughly 3x over the past two years, and the company is now expanding its local team.
The Role
The Senior Growth Manager will own a portfolio of strategic Korean accounts and drive revenue growth and retention across them. This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership from day one. There is no existing playbook, so the person in this seat will build one. The portfolio is currently gaming-heavy. As the Korea sales team lands new non-gaming advertisers, the role will expand into those accounts too.
Responsibilities
- Grow assigned accounts, prevent churn, and uncover long-term expansion opportunities
- Build account plans covering relationship mapping, upsell and cross-sell, and revenue and retention initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders up to executive level, using data-driven recommendations to drive product adoption
- Partner with internal analytics and product teams to keep campaigns optimized and to tie performance to business outcomes
- Share client and market feedback with internal teams
- Maintain disciplined forecasting, accurate reporting, and a 360° view of every account
Requirements
- 5–8 years in account management, growth, or customer success within digital advertising or mobile ad tech
- Ability to run accounts independently with no hand-holding; DSP or ad network experience is strongly preferred
- Fluency in Korean and English, written and spoken (daily work with English-speaking analytics teams)
- Hands-on proficiency with at least one dashboard tool (Looker, Tableau, Holistics, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a record of building trusted client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
- Mobile UA, DSP, or programmatic experience
- Familiarity with AI/ML and the underlying ad tech stack
- MBA
- Willingness to travel as needed
Why This Role
- Ownership of high-potential accounts in a market that has tripled in two years
- High visibility, with a direct line to regional leadership and close partnership with Growth, Product, and Analytics
- Consultative, executive-level client relationships rather than renewal management
- Competitive base salary plus performance bonus tied to account growth
- Leadership potential: the chance to mentor future Growth Managers as the Korea team scales
