Driver 3.5T/Yard Assistant Hybrid role

About the Role Join our Wednesbury team as a Driver/Yard Operative, where you'll be the face of JDP, delivering products to customers and helping keep our busy yard running smoothly. It's a varied, hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and teamwork. What You'll Be Doing - Safely deliver products to customers using a 3.5T vehicle. - Provide friendly, reliable service and ensure deliveries arrive on time. - Load and unload vehicles and prepare customer orders. - Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised yard. - Support stock control and day-to-day yard operations. - Work closely with the team to keep everything running efficiently.If you enjoy being on the move, working outdoors, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. What We're Looking For - Full UK driving licence - Good understanding of health & safety in the workplace - Knowledge of driver regulations, driving hours, and delivery procedures - Ability to plan efficient delivery routes - A proactive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn - Strong communication and customer service skills - FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is desirable but not essentialYou'll thrive in this role if you're reliable, customer-focused, and enjoy being part of a busy, supportive team.
