About Wallround
Wallround is headquartered in Berlin, with additional locations in Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Friedrichshafen and NRW.
Our mission: we turn energy-efficient retrofits for multi-family residential buildings into predictable, lucrative investment opportunities. When it comes to modernisations, the real estate market is often a black box of rough estimates and fragmented processes. We are changing that. Through our integrated platform and streamlined workflow, we transform 'brown assets' into future-proof, high-yield properties.
About the Role

We are looking for an AI Lead Product Manager to lead the product strategy, discovery, and execution of our AI-powered products and capabilities.
You will sit within the AI Functional Home while working day-to-day as a core member of the AI Initiatives, partnering closely with AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Design, and Automation Engineers.
This is a hands-on product leadership role. You will translate customer needs and business opportunities and initiatives ensuring that AI capabilities create measurable customer value.
Because we operate in the German-speaking market, native or professional-level German is essential. You will be comfortable working directly with German-speaking customers, stakeholders, and partners while collaborating with an international technology team in English.
Key Responsibilities
AI Product Strategy
- Identify high-value AI use cases based on customer needs, business opportunities, and technological possibilities.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into simple, valuable customer experiences.
- Define product priorities and make clear build / test / iterate decisions.
- Work closely with the CPO on product strategy and portfolio priorities.
Product Discovery
- Conduct customer discovery and problem validation, particularly within the German-speaking market.
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI.
- Define hypotheses, experiments, MVPs, and success criteria.
- Convert customer insights into actionable product requirements.
Cross-Functional Squad Leadership
- Act as the Product Lead / DRI for AI initiatives.
- Coordinate AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Design, and Automation specialists around a shared outcome.
- Maintain a clear squad backlog and prioritization framework.
- Remove ambiguity and keep the squad focused on outcomes rather than outputs.
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies to the CPO.
AI Product Development
- Partner with AI Engineers to evaluate model capabilities, limitations, costs, latency, and reliability.
- Understand concepts such as LLMs, RAG, agents, evaluation, prompting, structured outputs, and AI workflows.
- Define requirements for AI quality, accuracy, safety, observability, and user experience.
- Establish measurable product KPIs for AI features.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Communicate confidently with German-speaking customers and senior stakeholders.
- Present product concepts, prototypes, roadmaps, and outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with customers and use feedback to continuously improve the product.
