Certified Nursing Assistant

Scheduling: CNAs will be scheduled to work day shift hours from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm on the following schedule: two on; two off; three on; two off; two on; three off Job Duties: - Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers) - Document patient location, status, and activities - Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital - Assist in keeping patient common areas clean - Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations - Initiates corrective action as appropriate - Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients’ conditions - Complies with FSH infection prevention and control policies and procedures - Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks - Complies with all FSH/DMH policies and procedures - Other duties as assigned
