Body & Soul is a fine art women's portraiture studio in London. We help women see themselves for the works of art they are, and give them the courage to live a life with fearless authenticity. Born in Western Australia in 2020, expanding to London in 2023. On 29 August 2026 we set a world record, photographing over 1,000 women in a single day. In November we take the keys to our own self contained 4 floor building in Farringdon. New York follows in 2028. WHY THIS ROLE IS AVAILABLE In November we move into our own four floor building in Farringdon, and we are opening evening sessions for our community. For the first time we are creating a role dedicated entirely to the guest: the person who looks after her from the moment she books to the moment she collects her artwork. This is a new seat. Nobody has done it here before, and you would shape it. YOUR MISSION Part concierge, part host. You are the first person a guest meets and the last one she speaks to before she leaves. Most women arrive nervous. Many have spent weeks talking themselves into it, and some are still deciding on the morning of the shoot. How she feels in her first five minutes decides how the rest of her day goes, and that is your work. You look after her before the day, by phone and message, steadying nerves and answering the questions she is slightly embarrassed to ask. You look after her on the day, in person. And you know our artwork well enough that when she asks what happens next, between her shoot and her reveal, you can talk her through it properly. WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS - Look after guests from booking through to collecting their artwork - Hold the pre-shoot conversations that keep a nervous guest booked: the reassurance, the practical questions, the quiet talking down from a cancellation - Welcome every guest in person and set the tone for her day - Stay close through the day: drinks, belongings, timings, comfort - Know our collections and artwork in full, so you can talk a guest through her options with authority between her shoot and her reveal - Handle guest support at the desk between arrivals: messages, calls, scheduling and follow-ups - Keep reception and the guest areas immaculate - Work closely with photographers and makeup artists so the day runs to time HOW WE’LL KNOW YOU’RE WINNING - Show rate goes up. Fewer cancellations, fewer reschedules, fewer women who lose their nerve the night before - Guests mention you by name in their feedback - You consistently ask for feedback rather than waiting to be given it - Guests arrive calm and leave feeling looked after from start to finish - You can speak about every collection and artwork option without hesitating - You work well with every member of the team. There are no cliques here. You support others and allow yourself to be supported - Reception is immaculate at every hour of the day - You finish your days feeling empowered rather than drained. This work is demanding, but it should not leave you depleted THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF… - You come from hospitality, luxury retail, a five-star hotel, a private members’ club, premium airline cabin crew, luxury beauty or somewhere comparable where the standard was high and the detail mattered - You present extraordinarily well and you enjoy being the face of something - You are comfortable talking about money without flinching - You read people quickly and know when a guest wants company and when she wants quiet - You are consistent. A guest feels the same standard from you on a Wednesday morning as on a Sunday evening WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT This is not a lead generation role and it is not a sales job. You work with guests who have already booked, not with leads, and you will not carry a sales target the way our sales team does. What you carry instead is the energy and the values of Body & Soul, in person, all day. REQUIREMENTS - Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, five-star hotels, private members’ clubs, premium airlines, luxury beauty or a comparable guest-facing environment - Confident and warm on the phone as well as in person - Comfortable discussing prices and collections - Competent on a computer, for guest support work between arrivals - You will work weekends consistently, and evenings as those sessions open. These are not occasional shifts, they are the standard working pattern for this role Sales experience is a significant plus. So is a background in art. GROWTH & PERKS - Therapy, fully covered.
