Support Kaimahi (2 x Casual Positions) Te Puna Oranga Residential Whare - Pakaraka Mental Health & Addictions Residential Services Ngāti Hine Health Trust is seeking two Casual Kaimahi Support Workers to join our Residential Mental Health & Addictions team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of tangata whaiora and whānau by providing culturally responsive, recovery-focused support within a kaupapa Māori environment. About the Role You will: - Support tangata whaiora to achieve their recovery goals. - Provide practical, emotional, and day-to-day support within a residential setting. - Assist with transport to appointments and community activities. - Advocate for and connect tangata whaiora with health, housing, education, and social services. - Work collaboratively with whānau, clinicians, and community providers. About You You will have: - Experience in Mental Health and/or Addiction services. - Experience supporting tangata whaiora and whānau. - A full New Zealand Driver Licence. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - An understanding of tikanga Māori and Whānau Ora principles. - A Level 4 Mental Health qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
