Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Key Skills: Python, Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, Docker Location: Brazil Mode: Remote Experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-powered services and cloud-native solution. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python development, Azure cloud services, containerized application architectures, large language model (LLM) integrations, and modern AI concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and prompt engineering. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI. - Build and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Microsoft Azure services and Azure AI capabilities. - Develop and optimize AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), including GPT-family models and Microsoft Copilot integrations. - Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, semantic search, indexing strategies, and reranking techniques. - Engineer and optimize prompts and AI orchestration workflows to improve model accuracy and user experience. - Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and container technologies. - Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and deployment processes using Git-based development practices. - Work within Linux-based environments, virtual machines, and containerized infrastructures. - Design and implement data storage solutions utilizing NoSQL databases and modern data access patterns. - Integrate Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies for document ingestion and information extraction. - Write comprehensive unit tests and contribute to quality assurance efforts to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture decisions, and implementation strategies. - Stay current with emerging AI technologies, cloud services, and software engineering best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented software development. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native application development. - Experience working with Docker, containers, and containerized deployment models. - Practical experience integrating and utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), including GPT-family models. - Knowledge of AI development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and familiarity with alternative AI platforms such as Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude. - Solid understanding of: - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - Vector databases and embeddings - Semantic search and indexing - Prompt engineering - Reranking strategies - Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows. - Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. - Experience working with NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with OCR technologies and information extraction workflows. - Experience implementing automated testing and unit testing frameworks. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of React and TypeScript for full-stack application development. - Experience designing AI-powered document intelligence solutions. - Hands-on experience processing and transforming Microsoft Office and document formats, including:DOCX,PPTX,PDF. - Experience extracting, restructuring, classifying, and enriching information from unstructured documents. - Familiarity with document parsing frameworks, content extraction pipelines, and metadata enrichment processes. - Experience with vector databases such as Azure AI Search or similar technologies. - Experience deploying AI workloads in production environments.
