About Flipdish
At Flipdish, we’re turning the tables in favour of independent restaurant and takeaway owners by offering them powerful, simple-to-use tech solutions backed by real human support. Everything we do is designed to make running a restaurant satisfyingly simple in a world that’s anything but.
About the role
You’ll join the Talent Acquisition team and own recruitment for assigned roles, primarily supporting our Karachi hub alongside hiring across other Flipdish markets. You’ll partner with hiring managers and People colleagues to bring the right talent into the business, from role kick-off and sourcing through interviews, offers and handover.
This is a hands-on recruitment role, not solely an interview scheduling or administration position. Success means building strong pipelines, helping stakeholders make evidence-based hiring decisions and delivering a consistently excellent candidate experience. You’ll also use data, AI and automation to make recruitment more effective without compromising quality, fairness or confidentiality.
What you’ll own
- End-to-end recruitment: Own assigned vacancies from role kick-off and sourcing through screening, interviews, offers and handover to People, with Karachi hiring as your primary focus.
- Hiring manager partnerships: Define requirements, agree candidate profiles and interview processes, and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, timelines and hiring decisions. Challenge assumptions constructively, follow up on decisions and propose better ways of working.
- Candidate pipelines: Build and maintain strong pipelines through proactive sourcing, targeted outreach, referrals and effective management of inbound applications, including engaging passive candidates.
- Screening and assessment: Conduct structured recruiter screens covering relevant experience, motivation, role fit and compensation expectations, and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations against agreed criteria.
- Candidate experience: Keep candidates informed through timely communication, well-organised interviews and consistent follow-up throughout the hiring process.
- Recruitment records and reporting: Keep Greenhouse records, scorecards, candidate stages and hiring documentation accurate and up to date. Use pipeline activity and conversion data to identify bottlenecks, recommend actions and flag market challenges, candidate drop-off and delays early.
- Workflow improvements: Use AI, automation and clear documentation to reduce manual work and improve recruitment processes while maintaining quality, fairness and confidentiality.
What success looks like
- Assigned vacancies progress against agreed hiring priorities and timelines, with risks surfaced early and clear next steps agreed with stakeholders.
- Candidate pipelines consistently produce relevant, engaged candidates who meet the agreed role criteria.
- Hiring decisions are supported by structured assessments, clear recommendations and reliable recruitment records.
- Candidates receive timely updates and a well-organised, professional experience throughout the process.
- Data-led improvements reduce avoidable delays and manual work without compromising hiring quality or candidate confidentiality.
About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have demonstrable hands-on recruitment experience, with evidence of independently managing roles through the hiring lifecycle—not solely scheduling interviews or supporting recruitment administration.
- Have strong sourcing and screening skills, including finding and engaging passive candidates and assessing them against agreed criteria.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in excellent written and spoken English with candidates, hiring managers and international colleagues.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and have the confidence to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions constructively and follow up on hiring decisions.
- Are highly organised and take ownership of multiple vacancies, prioritising competing demands and following through without repeated prompting.
- Are confident with technology and have practical AI literacy, with examples of using digital tools to improve your work and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Are proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), maintain reliable records and follow structured hiring and approval processes with attention to detail.
- Are comfortable interpreting recruitment pipeline activity and conversion rates to recommend practical next steps.
- Exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling candidate information and sensitive hiring discussions.
Nice-to-haves
The following would help you stand out, but are not required:
- Recruitment experience within a SaaS, technology or high-growth business.
- Experience hiring across multiple functions, such as customer support, commercial, technical, product or corporate roles.
- Knowledge of the Karachi/Pakistan talent market, alongside exposure to recruitment in the UK, Ireland or other international markets.
- Hands-on experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter and Notion.
- Examples of building AI-assisted workflows or recruitment automations beyond using AI to draft messages.
- Experience creating recruitment dashboards, reporting tools, templates or process documentation.
- Experience improving candidate experience, employer branding or referral programmes.

Our culture
At Flipdish, we’re on the side of independent restaurant and takeaway owners, running busy operations on tight margins with rising costs, staffing challenges, and an increasingly demanding customer base. Our job is to make their lives easier with technology that’s powerful, satisfyingly simple, and backed by real human support.
Our integrated ecosystem, spanning online ordering, marketing, loyalty, point of sale, menu optimisation, and operational automation, helps restaurants grow while staying in control. We’re an AI-first company, and we use it to help our customers get better outcomes, faster ordering, smarter marketing, and smoother operations, so owners and teams can spend more time on what matters.
Inside the company, we value ownership and clarity, with a friendly, people-led culture behind it. We trust our people to help shape what kind of employer Flipdish is, not just follow a script. Transparency is huge for us: we listen to each other, and create the space for people to grow (with balance, not burnout). We’re focused on impact and team energy, not “being seen”. You’ll have meaningful scope, work closely with smart people across teams, and be trusted to make things better as Flipdish scales.
