Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Financial Planning and Analysis based in Canada. The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the organization’s global FP&A function, driving strategic financial planning and performance management across multiple countries, programs, and funding sources. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and financial performance analysis while strengthening resource allocation and financial accountability. Working closely with senior leaders, country teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Director will help align organizational strategy with operational priorities and available resources. This position also offers the opportunity to modernize financial systems, improve reporting capabilities, and build a high-performing international FP&A team. The role operates in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, with a hybrid work arrangement in Toronto and regular engagement across global time zones. International travel of up to 20% is required.
