Equipment Operator III, Nursery

Overview: Performs general labor as needed throughout nursery and elsewhere as directed by management. The nursery operator is dedicated to the nursery year-round and is expected to perform at high level and meet the standards set by management. Here's what  you'll do: - Tying Buds - Budwood Maintenance - Seed Processing - Clipping - Stake & Tie - Installing Drippers - Seed Extraction - Transplanting - Cutting Tail - Removing Tape - Tree Packing - Sorting Trees & Ellepots - Suckering Here's what you'll bring to the table: - Ability to work alone without close supervision and in group settings with excellent team work attitude. - Be in good physical condition to do continuous bending, stooping and walking on a day-long basis. - Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis. If operating a company vehicle must possess a valid driver’s license. - Ability to read and interpret general instructions from leads and supervisors. Ability to write and keep basic notations of work performed.
