In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our organization, and your commitment to punctuality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction will be essential to our success. - Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies - Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at all scheduled stops - Load, unload, and secure merchandise in the delivery vehicle, ensuring products are protected during transit - Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, delivery confirmations, and any special instructions from customers - Provide professional and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly - Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage immediately - Meet daily and weekly delivery quotas while maintaining quality standards - Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns - Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies before delivery and document any issues - Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role - Strong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety protocols - Proficiency in route planning and navigation, including GPS and mapping tools - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills - Ability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly - Physical capability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing movements - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Clear communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions - Knowledge of local traffic patterns and road conditions in the Effingham area (preferred) - Experience with delivery management software or mobile applications (preferred) BENEFITS - Flexible Hours - Competitive wages - Earn tips daily - Paid mileage - Employee discount on all food items - Advancement opportunities - Paid TrainingFULL TIME DRIVERS BENEFITS (in addition to above benefits): - Offered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance after 60 days of employment - Voluntary accident coverage/Critical illness coverage - Flexible Spending Accounts - Ability to contribute to a 401(k)All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
