As a (Senior) Data Science Specialist for Virtual Sensors at COMPREDICT, you will improve our existing Virtual Sensors and bring them from research into series application. You will combine research and development with deployment, so that the solutions you build are accurate and robust enough to run in production vehicles.
You will work across multiple fields: tire pressure and tire wear, as well as other automotive use cases. Your work is always driven by physics and a solid understanding of the field.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Virtual Sensor Development:
- Develop and improve our Virtual Sensors, with a clear focus on robustness and accuracy.
- Combine physical understanding with data-driven methods to build reliable models for automotive use cases such as tire pressure and tire wear.Deployment for Series Usage:
- Deploy Virtual Sensor solutions for series usage.
- Plan and carry out tests and validation to ensure the solutions meet the requirements of series application.
You are passionate about turning physical understanding into software that replaces hardware in the vehicle. You bring:
- A degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
- 3-5+ years of experience in model development
- Experience with signal processing for time series in the time and frequency domain
- Experience with modelling and system-based approaches
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Solid knowledge of vehicle technology
- Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and durability engineering is an asset
