The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the design and management of water-related projects. Some major responsibilities you're in charge of: - Apply extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices across diverse project areas - Serve as a technical specialist, staff adviser and consultant to the civil engineering specialty, for any given water/wastewater, land/site development, and/or public works project - Undertake complex assignments, pioneering new civil engineering techniques or procedures to enhance project outcomes - Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production, codes, and established design standards - Direct and perform the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for projects
