Workday Payroll/HCM Consultant | Workday Certified

Our partner is looking for a Workday Payroll/HCM Consultant | Workday Certified based in the United States. The Workday Payroll/HCM Consultant will play a key role in delivering a large-scale Workday implementation within a complex public-sector environment. This engagement supports a major university system transitioning from a highly customized PeopleSoft platform to Workday. You will leverage your expertise in Payroll and Core HCM to translate business requirements into effective, scalable Workday solutions. Working closely with functional and technical teams, you will contribute to solution design, tenant configuration, testing, and issue resolution. The role offers hands-on involvement in critical implementation deliverables, including configuration workbooks, user stories, business process documentation, and defect management. You will help streamline legacy processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure that Workday functionality aligns with organizational needs. This is a fully remote consulting opportunity with limited travel to the client site in New York, offering exposure to a sophisticated implementation project and opportunities to expand your consulting expertise.
