Staff Consultant, Medicaid

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Consultant, Medicaid based in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring consulting professional to contribute to the planning, development, and improvement of state Medicaid programs across the United States. The Staff Consultant will support government agency clients through two key service areas: Advanced Planning Document (APD) development and Outcomes-Based Procurement (OBP) support. Working alongside experienced consultants and subject matter experts, this individual will help prepare funding documentation, develop procurement materials, conduct research, and coordinate project activities. The role offers hands-on exposure to public-sector consulting, healthcare program financing, and procurement strategy. With structured training, mentorship, and on-the-job learning, the successful candidate will have opportunities to build specialized expertise while contributing to meaningful client outcomes. This remote position combines analytical work, collaboration, and project coordination, with travel to client sites as needed.
