Backend QA Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Backend QA Engineer based in Ireland. As a Backend QA Engineer, you will take ownership of software quality across a high-traffic backend platform, ensuring reliable performance and seamless transaction processing. You will combine hands-on manual testing with automated test development to identify defects early and prevent issues from reaching production. Working closely with engineering teams, you will validate complex transaction lifecycles, API integrations, and event-driven workflows across distributed services. You will develop and maintain automated test suites using TypeScript and Playwright while strengthening regression coverage and testing efficiency.
