Staff Backend Engineer, Money Movement

As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will lead the design and development of a new trust accounting platform that enables property managers to manage financial records and funds securely, accurately, and compliantly. You will take ownership of the system's architecture and technical direction from the ground up, building production-grade financial infrastructure designed for reliability, scalability, and auditability. Working closely with product, design, finance, and legal teams, you will translate complex business requirements into robust backend solutions. You will establish engineering standards for testing, observability, security, and continuous delivery while ensuring financial correctness remains central to every design decision. As a founding member of the team, you will influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and drive delivery in a fast-growing, international technology environment.
