Founding Sales Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early-stage industrial energy management company as its founding sales hire. You will own new business and account growth for a live, AI-powered platform that helps industrial companies manage energy procurement, consumption, and costs. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Close new business with industrial companies across the DACH region, from upper-mid-market firms to large enterprises. - Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through demos, business cases, pilots, procurement, security review, and contract signature. - Build and manage relationships across buying committees, including energy, plant operations, finance, IT, and executive stakeholders. - Create your own pipeline through thoughtful outreach in German and English, events, and partner channels. - Grow signed accounts through additional use cases, sites, and cross-sells, and develop customers into references. - Share market and customer feedback with the founders and product team to inform pricing, product direction, and ideal customer profiles. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, including 2 or more years with full-cycle closing responsibility. - Experience closing complex, technical enterprise or upper-mid-market deals with multiple stakeholders and six-figure annual contract values. - A track record of building outbound pipeline and selling through long sales cycles. - Experience selling at an early-stage startup without established sales playbooks. - Strong German and English communication skills and the ability to engage industrial buyers. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS OTE is €107,000 to €143,000 annually, with a 60/40 base and variable split and equity. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION Hybrid in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany.
