ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a small product engineering team at an early-stage energy technology company. You will work closely with customers and own end-to-end engineering work on energy retail challenges, turning complex operational needs into intuitive, production-ready products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work directly with customers to understand their problems and guide product and engineering decisions.
- Build and ship full-stack features from discovery through production.
- Use AI-native development tools to accelerate delivery and improve your impact.
- Take ownership of zero-to-one projects, including customer billing and portal experiences.
- Prioritize initiatives, decide what to build, and stop work that is not delivering value.
- Address energy retail needs such as procurement, customer retention, and cost optimization.
- Help shape engineering culture, tools, and processes, and support team growth.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Typically 2 to 13 years of experience, with evidence of exceptional technical ability through shipped products, founding work, research, competitions, or comparable accomplishments.
- Strong full-stack skills and experience delivering products end to end, from discovery to production.
- Comfort using AI-native coding tools as part of your development workflow.
- Fluent German at C1 level or above.
- A degree from a strong university and experience at an early-stage startup are valued.
- Experience or strong interest in energy retail, including billing, procurement, retention, or cost optimization.
- High ownership, sound judgment, and comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual salary: EUR 80,000 to EUR 120,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in Berlin, Germany, normally five days per week.
