Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker for its client’s Older Adults Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Adult Social Care service, working with older adults and their families to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
What will your responsibilities be?
As an Adult Social Worker within the Older Adults Team, you will:
- Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning for older adults, ensuring needs are assessed accurately and appropriate services are arranged to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments, working collaboratively with service users, families, and partner agencies to investigate concerns and implement safeguarding plans where required.
- Manage a busy duty and case management workload, responding to urgent referrals, providing timely interventions, maintaining accurate case records, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local authority procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience within Adult Social Care, ideally working with older adults.
- Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, safeguarding procedures, and relevant social care legislation.
- Strong assessment, risk management, and case management skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
