About the role

Traction Wellness Group is hiring for one of our SweatHouz studios! Traction Wellness Group is hiring an Assistant Studio Manager for SweatHouz The Marina in San Francisco. SweatHouz is the fastest-growing recovery franchise in the world, with 100+ open locations and 300+ licenses sold. It brings contrast therapy (infrared sauna + cold plunge) to people through private suite experiences. Traction Wellness Group operates SweatHouz studios across five states, and we’re still adding more. A quick note before you read on. Most job posts are a list of duties. We wrote this one so the right person reads it and thinks “that’s me,” and everyone else saves us both some time. The job, honestly You’re the person who makes the studio run. When you’re on shift, you’re on the floor: running intros, closing memberships, keeping the suites and plunges perfect, and making sure every guest gets the same premium experience whether it’s 8am on a Tuesday or a packed Saturday afternoon. You’ll work alongside our new Studio Manager, and our portfolio Training Lead will be in the studio at the start to train you both. When the Studio Manager is off, you’re in charge. This is not for you if… - “Good enough” is good enough. A plunge reading that’s slightly off or a suite that’s 90% clean isn’t a small thing to us. If you’re not the type to check twice, this will drive you crazy. - You want to stay behind the desk. You’ll tour first-timers and close memberships yourself, and you’ll be held to a 25%+ closing rate. - You need a fixed schedule. This is five days a week, about 35 hours, but we need open availability across all seven days, including evenings and weekends. - You wait to be told. If supplies are running low or a shift is about to go sideways, we expect you to have handled it before anyone asks. If that list sounds exhausting, no hard feelings. This isn’t your job. If it sounds like how you already work, keep reading. What you’ll own - Plunge health: Daily plunge checks, logs, and water chemistry. You’ll monitor filters and chemicals and catch problems before they become problems. - Inventory: Order, track, and manage everything the studio runs on, from toiletries and beverages to cleaning supplies. Nothing runs out on your watch. - Shift execution: Own the flow of every shift you work: coverage, front desk, calls and follow-ups, and suite turnover. When you’re Manager-on-Duty, the studio runs like the Studio Manager never left. - Intro quality: Run great intros yourself, and audit our Sales Associates' intros so every first visit is a great one. - Team development: Help the Studio Manager onboard new hires and keep developing the team, from first-week training to ongoing skill-building and training audits. You’re a big part of how good this team gets. - Operational standards: Audit deep cleans, suite condition, and maintenance follow-through. You hold the line on the standard, every shift. How we’ll measure you - Monthly new member goals - Closing percentage (25%+) - Revenue targets - Plunge health and inventory accuracy - Secret shopper scores No surprises. You’ll know exactly where you stand every week. Where this goes “Growth opportunities” is filler in most job ads. Here it’s a track record. The Studio Manager who built this team now leads training and operations across our entire portfolio, and she’ll be the one training you. We’re opening more locations, and our next Studio Managers come from the people who prove it as an ASM. You are… Someone who notices the details everyone else walks past. You like a checklist, and you like a sales goal even more. You’ve worked in sales, hospitality, or fitness and you’re good with people. You live the lifestyle you’re selling. And you’re ready to lead, not just work a shift. Why Traction Wellness Group - Complimentary access to SweatHouz - Real growth opportunities. We’re early, and we’re expanding Requirements - 1+ year in sales, hospitality, or customer-facing fitness/wellness - Experience leading or training others is a plus - Open availability across all seven days, including evenings and weekends Apply If you got to the end and felt recognized, apply. We’d love to meet you.
