Paramedic - Part Time

Apply for a part-time Paramedic position Job Description - Operates an emergency medical vehicle. - Lifts, carries, and transports injured, sick or incapacitated persons from residential or accident scenes to medical facilities. - Provides Paramedic level emergency medical treatment to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons. - Communicates with professional medical personnel at treatment facility to obtain instructions regarding treatment and to arrange for reception at medical treatment facilities. - Obtains information from and examines patients to determine nature, extent, or magnitude of illness or injury. - Administers prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency or in the ambulance according to established medical protocols. - Inspects equipped emergency vehicles; cleans equipment to ensure its safe operation; and replenishes medical supplies, fuel, and fluids. Requirements - Applicants must be Paramedic certified and able to obtain an Oklahoma EMS license. Basic EMTs nearing the end of Paramedic school or waiting to test will be considered. - Applicants must have a clean driving record and no criminal history and must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Driver’s License. - Our candidate testing includes a skills exam, physical fitness test and written exam. - Preferred candidates will have current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications. Additional pay incentives are paid for special events and other special situations.
