Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Key Skills: AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Docker Swarm, CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket, Linux, Networking, Infrastructure as Code Experience: 5–7 YOE. Location: Costa Rica. Mode: Remote We at Coforge are hiring Senior DevOps Engineer (#20743-1-1) with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate configuration management and deployments with Ansible. - Manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Swarm, and implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and deployment processes. Required Skills & Qualifications - 5–7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles. - Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation. - Strong experience with AWS services, including IAM and AWS CLI. - Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. - Solid understanding of Docker and containerization. - Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and Bitbucket. - Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux administration and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). - Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong problem-solving, independent working, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server (2012/2016) and PostgreSQL (13/14). - Understanding of security practices, including TLS, IAM, and RBAC. - Experience with monitoring tools and infrastructure troubleshooting.
