QA Automation Engineer Location : Alpharetta , GA (Hybrid 3 Days a Week) Hiring Type:  C2H Candidate must be available and willing to attend Face-to-Face (F2F) interviews after 1st virtual Round.   Skills- Automation + Playwright + Java  Automation Testing | Playwright | Java | API Testing | CI/CD | Agile | Test Framework Development   Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with Java. - Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies. - Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless automated execution. - Perform API testing and validation using industry-standard tools and frameworks. - Review application requirements and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to drive issue resolution. - Conduct code reviews and enforce automation best practices, coding standards, and quality processes. - Monitor automation execution, generate test reports, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. - Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Stay current with emerging automation technologies, testing trends, and industry best practices. Qualifications We Seek In You - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong hands-on experience in Java programming. - Extensive experience in test automation using Playwright with Java. - Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test lifecycle, and quality assurance principles. - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.  Preferred Qualifications - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and modern DevOps practices. - Hands-on experience with performance testing and test reporting tools. - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience integrating automation suites with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence. - ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus. - Prior experience leading automation initiatives or mentoring QA teams. - Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and modern quality engineering practices.
