Colleagues are expected to travel when asked. ROLE OVERVIEW We are actively seeking an Associate Partner to join HealthScape as we grow our Technology offerings. Associate Partners in Technology advise payer executives on high-stakes technology decisions and lead transformations spanning business and technology architecture, platform modernization, cloud, data, integration, AI, and technology operating models. They shape complex engagements across HealthScape’s Technology focus areas, connect technology choices to enterprise economics and operating outcomes, and mobilize clients around practical roadmaps, implementation, and value realization. Associate Partners also grow client relationships, build offerings and thought leadership, and develop the capabilities of our teams. RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead complex payer technology engagements from strategy and assessment through roadmap development, implementation planning, execution oversight, and value realization. - Structure ill-defined business and technology problems and develop frameworks connecting payer strategy, operations, architecture, data, and economics. - Advise clients across Technology focus areas while connecting specialized decisions to the broader payer ecosystem and enterprise transformation agenda. - Guide business, enterprise, and solution architecture linking business capabilities, platforms, data, integration, cloud, and AI into a coherent target state. - Translate business strategy into technology blueprints, capability maps, architecture principles, sequencing decisions, and investment roadmaps. - Advise where to replace, supplement, build, integrate, or rationalize core platforms, intelligence layers, data products, APIs, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. - Lead complex transformations from mobilization through execution and value realization, establishing executive governance and aligning architecture, operating models, vendors, and delivery teams. - Build trusted relationships with CIOs, COOs, and other executives; influence decisions, align stakeholders, and identify emerging opportunities. - Lead business development, proposals, statements of work, offering development, thought leadership, and account expansion across the payer Technology portfolio. - Develop repeatable delivery methods, intellectual property, accelerators, and partner models that improve engagement quality, speed, and economics. - Shape engagement scope, staffing, pricing, and delivery models; manage commercial performance, delivery risk, and profitability. - Coach and mentor colleagues, build high-performing teams, and champion responsible technology and AI adoption. QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS - 8+ years working with healthcare payers on strategic and/or operational initiatives, including 4+ years managing others. - Deep technology experience across IT organization and processes, applications, infrastructure, cloud technology, data infrastructure, and AI, with an understanding of how technology enables business strategy. - 3+ years leading payer technology transformation engagements, including assessment, risk and value identification, roadmaps, and subsequent implementation or integration. - Deep understanding of payer business models, operating environments, core platforms, data flows, and technology trends. - Experience shaping business, enterprise, or solution architecture and target-state technology blueprints, including cloud-enabled modernization, integration, and platform architecture. - Experience advising on enterprise AI, including generative and agentic AI, workflow redesign, architecture requirements, responsible governance, and production scaling. - Familiarity with payer platforms such as Facets, QNXT, HealthEdge Solutions, Lyric, Cotiviti, Availity, Salesforce, or comparable technologies. - Proven ability to advise executives, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and communicate sophisticated technology topics clearly. - Exceptional analytical problem solving, people leadership, business development, offering development, and engagement economics management. - Advanced degree preferred; strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, responsible digital and AI fluency, and flexibility to travel as client needs require. Salary range: $175,500-$230,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
