At Wavelynx, we design and manufacture open-architecture physical access control hardware and software solutions. Our reader and controller technologies bridge the gap between traditional smart credentials, mobile credentials (Apple Wallet, Employee Badges), and secure cloud-managed networks. We empower physical security systems to be flexible, interoperable, and future-proof. We are seeking an RMA Technician who will be responsible for receiving, processing, and testing returned Wavelynx products. This entry-level role reports to Operations and is based on site in Broomfield, Colorado. The technician diagnoses returned units, documents findings, and works closely with the QA, Support, and Electrical Engineering teams to test and troubleshoot products. Duties/Responsibilities - Receive and log incoming RMA units in HubSpot and NetSuite. - Track each RMA through receiving, testing, and final disposition, and keep records current in both systems. - Test returned APEX and Ethos readers to confirm or rule out reported failures. - Diagnose the cause of failure using a multimeter and software test tools. - Write clear findings for each unit so Operations can make repair, replace, or credit decisions. - Support the QA team with product testing and issue verification. - Help the Support team reproduce and troubleshoot issues reported from the field. - Work with the Electrical Engineering team on bench testing, and learn soldering and board-level work over time. - Keep the RMA work area and test equipment organized and in working order. - Assist Production with issues or questions as needed.  Required Skills/Abilities - Some hands-on experience testing or troubleshooting electronic hardware. - Basic familiarity with a multimeter or similar test equipment. - Comfortable learning new software tools and business systems such as HubSpot and NetSuite. - Able to write clear, accurate notes on test results. - Basic computer skills, including creating and editing documents and spreadsheets.  - Detail-oriented and consistent. - Works well as a productive member of a team. - Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment. - Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing. Education and Experience - Experience in the access control or security industry is preferred. - Experience in a hardware test, repair, or RMA role preferred. - Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.  - High school diploma or equivalent required.
