YOUR ROLE AT FUNDWELL The Director of Partnerships builds and scales relationships that generate profitable growth for Fundwell. Reporting to the CEO & CRO this role owns lead-generation, affiliate and referral, channel, and integrated partnerships from strategy through execution. A hands-on player-coach, the Director will source and structure new opportunities, grow executive-level relationships, and work across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Client Success to make partnerships a consistent, measurable revenue engine. HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT - Develop and execute a partnership strategy tied to Fundwell’s OKRs, pipeline, revenue, and profitability goals. - Source, negotiate, launch, and grow lead-generation, affiliate, referral, channel, and integrated partnerships. - Own senior relationships with banks, lenders, fintech platforms, and other strategic partners. - Build business cases and commercial models, including pricing, economics, incentives, contracts, and performance expectations. - Lead the partner lifecycle from onboarding and enablement through business reviews, optimization, and expansion. - Create go-to-market plans with Marketing and Product for new partners, programs, and integrations. - Forecast and track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, profitability, conversion, acquisition cost, productivity, and ROI. - Use data, market insight, and responsible AI tools to identify opportunities and improve research, outreach, reporting, and decisions. - Build scalable partnership playbooks and systems while representing Fundwell credibly in the market. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - Partnerships generate a growing, measurable share of qualified pipeline, revenue, and profit. - Fundwell has a balanced portfolio of productive referral, channel, and integrated partners. - New partnerships move efficiently from opportunity to launch with clear ownership and strong execution. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or go-to-market roles, including ownership of growth targets. - Fintech and lending experience is required; payments experience is a plus. - Success building lead-generation, affiliate or referral, channel, and integrated partnerships. - Established relationships with banks, lenders, fintech platforms, or adjacent ecosystem partners. - A commercial, hunting-oriented approach with the ability to originate opportunities, structure deals, negotiate, and close. - Experience with partnership economics, pricing, forecasting, contracts, and executive-level business reviews. - Strong analytical skills and experience using KPIs to improve pipeline, conversion, partner performance, and ROI. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence executives, employees, and partners. - A hands-on, low-ego style with urgency, ownership, sound judgment, and comfort in an entrepreneurial environment. - A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
