Salary:                                                                                                            The annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 - $155,000 + 10% Bonus Target and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.   Summary: The Manager, Project Management – Equipment leads North American equipment order fulfillment from order receipt through customer site acceptance, building a more disciplined and scalable project delivery model. This role sets project management standards, strengthens documentation discipline, manages selected high-impact projects, and leads project managers and customer service agents to deliver equipment on time and within budget.  This role is suited for a hands-on leader who can bring structure to a complex, cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will be expected to define process flows, create alignment across functions, and use data, process discipline, and follow-through to improve project execution. Essential Functions: - Establish, implement, and continuously improve standard project management processes North American customer equipment orders, ensuring customer expectations are clear, decisions are documented, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.  - Lead a team of five project managers and customer service agents, setting clear expectations for communication, documentation, project control, and customer follow-through.  - Contribute customer priorities, project risk, and equipment-order visibility to the SIOP process, supporting engineering capacity, operational capacity, and facility-selection reviews, so delivery commitments are realistic, visible, and executable.  - Drive readiness, execution, and closure of factory and site acceptance tests, ensuring open issues, punch-list items, customer decisions, and acceptance criteria are documented, owned, and resolved.  - Lead project execution discipline for warehouse automation and ASRS projects, coordinating scope, schedule, risk, customer readiness, and cross-functional handoffs to support successful delivery as this business expands in North America.  - Own ERP data quality for new equipment sales orders, ensuring order data is accurate, current, and updated promptly when scope, schedule, cost, or fulfillment assumptions change.  - Develop and use KPIs to monitor project cost, timeline, quality, customer readiness, and decision-cycle performance; use the data to identify root causes, drive corrective action, and improve project delivery discipline over time.  Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree required (engineering or other technical degree preferred)  - PMI/PMP certification is a plus. Experience - 5+ years of experience in project management, proposals, service, engineering, or technical customer-order execution, with the ability to interpret technical documentation, order requirements, and customer acceptance criteria.  - 3+ years of experience leading people, with demonstrated ability to coach, set expectations, and hold team members accountable.  - Experience with automation, capital equipment, industrial products, or engineered-to-order environments preferred.  - Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while using KPIs, project metrics, and root-cause analysis to balance customer priorities, internal constraints, and deadlines.  - Demonstrated ability to lead change across functions, influence without direct authority, and move teams from informal practices to consistent, measurable project execution.  - Strong communication, urgency, and influencing skills; able to escalate issues constructively, make trade-offs visible, and align customers, sales, engineering, operations, service, and senior leaders around priorities, risks, decisions, and recovery plans. Computer skills - High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Planner.  - ERP, PDM/PLM, solid modeling, and / or PLC programming familiarity is a plus. Travel requirements  - 10% travel annually, normally 2-day trips to customer sites or other Signode facilities  - Ability to represent Signode when interfacing with customers, suppliers, and salespersons  - Occasional travel outside of normal business hours Functional Success Drivers:  These competencies are what we require for an individual to be successful in this role.  - Process Management  - Change Leadership  - Cross-Functional Influence  - Communication — Oral and Written  - Execution Discipline  - Resourcefulness - Perseverance All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
