Some of our prestigious clients are State of CA, State of OR, State of FL, State of NC, State of GA, State of CO, State of VA, State of AR, State of MI, State of OH, State of IL, State of MO, State of MS, California State University, Sacramento Area Sanitation Department, SMUD, Sound Transit, LA Superior Courts, District of Columbia, UMAS, University of Central Florida and Hennepin County and many more. - Title: UNIX Administrator - Location: Sacramento, CA SCOPE OF WORK: - Administration of AIX/RedHat Enterprise servers in UNIX infrastructure environment, including patching/updating per standard schedule - Provision AIX/RedHat virtual server builds in PowerVM/VMware - Working with customers both internal and external to troubleshoot incidents - Maintain documentation and diagrams associated with UNIX infrastructure environment Technical Requirements - Experience with system build process and procedures in a virtualized environment - Experience with troubleshooting of AIX/Red Hat based environment - Experience with the creation of monitoring capabilities to assist in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and monitoring of the UNIX based environment. - Experience with the migration of RHEL 5 machines to RHEL 7 - Experience with IBM PowerVM virtualization environment (AIX) - Experience with VMware server system administration (RHEL) Desirable Qualification - Experience with shell scripting/programming - Experience with PowerHA - Experience with IBM PowerVC - Experience with IBM Big Fix Patch Management - Experience with IBM Tivoli Monitoring - Experience with Ancible - Experience with Puppet - Experience with Windows System Administration - Experience with physical server racking/installation - Experience hardening Operating Systems to meet information security standards. Mandatory Requirements - Minimum 5 years’ experience - Must have experience with either IBM AIX or Red Hat Linux in an Enterprise level environment.
