With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels. We are looking for a Privacy Implementation Lead to help operationalize privacy requirements across StackAdapt’s products, systems, and data flows. This individual contributor role will sit within the Legal Privacy team and serve as a day-to-day liaison to Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Security. You will translate privacy and legal requirements into practical technical and operational controls, track implementation workstreams, and help ensure that privacy guidance is reflected in actual system behavior. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, and comfortable working cross-functionally. You do not need to be an engineer or attorney, but you should be able to understand technical concepts, ask effective questions, manage implementation workstreams, and identify gaps between privacy requirements and current functionality. StackAdapt embraces AI and automation across the business. This role will use these tools to improve efficiency, support quality assurance, and extend the reach of the Privacy team. You will report directly to the VP Legal, Privacy. As a remote-first company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada or the United States. What You'll Be Doing: - Translate privacy obligations and legal guidance into clear business and technical requirements, including owners, dependencies, deadlines, and implementation steps. - Own the operational implementation of key privacy initiatives, partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Security to coordinate deliverables, resolve blockers, and drive workstreams through completion. - Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of privacy controls across StackAdapt’s digital properties, advertising technologies, and data collection practices. - Partner with technical teams to understand and document data flows, system dependencies, and data storage practices to support privacy requirements related to deletion, suppression, retention, and data use. - Help develop reporting and analytics guidelines and determine data retention requirements based on business and client needs. - Implement and manage privacy, tracking, compliance, or governance tools, including a third-party tracking technology testing tool. - Test and document privacy controls, including pixel and tag behavior, consent signals, opt-outs, deletion workflows, and retention controls. - Establish repeatable privacy intake, backlog-management, testing, and reporting processes. - Use AI tools and automation to support quality assurance and improve the Privacy team’s efficiency. What You'll Bring to the Table - 5+ years of experience in privacy operations, privacy implementation, technical program management, product operations, compliance operations, legal operations, data governance, or a related field. - Experience working directly with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, or other technical teams. - Strong project management skills and the ability to drive multiple workstreams to completion. - Ability to understand technical concepts such as data flows, APIs, pixels, tags, consent signals, databases, deletion workflows, retention, and system integrations. - Familiarity with privacy concepts, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state privacy laws, consent, opt-outs, data deletion, retention, and privacy by design. - Experience implementing or managing privacy, compliance, tracking, governance, or technical workflow tools. - Practical experience using AI tools or automation to improve operational efficiency or quality assurance. - Strong communication, documentation, attention to detail, and judgment. Bonus Experience - Experience in advertising technology, marketing technology, data platforms, measurement, tracking, or another technically complex environment. - Familiarity with StackAdapt’s products, systems, or infrastructure. - Experience supporting pixels, tags, tracking technologies, or client-facing digital properties. - Experience implementing a third-party tracking technology testing or governance tool.
