We’re looking to bring on a detail-oriented and driven Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Amsterdam. It’s not enough to identify a problem; we collaborate to fix it.   Why You Should or Shouldn't Apply You should apply if you: - Have 3+ years of experience in accounting - Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Are highly proficient in our core software stack: NetSuite, Ramp, Excel, Google Suite - Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Possess a solid understanding of financial accounting principles (bonus if you know US GAAP). - Are proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn - Are a team player who communicates clearly and effectively, and feels comfortable presenting financial data to the team weekly - Have experience owning multiple areas of the financial close process You might not be the right fit if you: - Require heavy oversight to complete standard month-end tasks or reconciliations - Aren’t comfortable working in a hybrid or tech-savvy environment - Don’t have any foundation/experience in accounting or familiarity with key financial processes - Find it challenging to manage your time independently or prioritize tasks On a Weekly Basis You Will Find Yourself - Owning mid-level month-end tasks and reconciliations such as: Accruals, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Payroll liabilities, Intangible assets, VAT returns - Own multiple areas of the financial and tax related audits, reviews - Own multiple bank reconciliations in a multinational/multicurrency environment - Assist management with integration of acquired entities including setup in ERP, statutory reporting, and documenting new accounting procedures. - Own Transfer pricing entries as determined by external transfer pricing study.
