About the role

p(X) provides aggregated, institutional-grade digital asset liquidity through a curated network of global trading venues. In today's highly fragmented market, counterparties that trade directly with p(X) gain access to deep, diversified liquidity while simplifying execution and settlement. This eliminates the operational burden of establishing and maintaining separate relationships with multiple liquidity providers while at the same time allowing for superior execution quality. p(X) operates as an independent business unit, separate from the Talos Platform business, governed by its own AML, compliance, risk management, and operational frameworks designed to meet the requirements of a regulated trading and liquidity provisioning business. As a distinct legal entity, p(X) maintains its own balance sheet, counterparty onboarding processes, governance structure, and Board of Directors. While p(X) leverages certain shared corporate services — including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Information Security — it operates independently from Talos, with its own management and staff, in all core commercial and operational activities. We are hiring a Sales Lead/Director to drive counterparty acquisition, onboarding, and revenue growth for our p(X) liquidity provision business. This is a high-ownership, early-employee role responsible for generating leads, building strong counterparty relationships, and closing deals to support a fast-scaling pipeline. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, a proactive, problem-solving mindset, and a deep understanding of crypto institutional sales & trading workflows. Responsibilities - Source, pitch, and close new counterparties (retail brokers, fintechs, funds, neobanks) - Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting → negotiation → onboarding → activation - Expand our network of trading counterparties and products throughout 2027 - Build and maintain long-term strategic counterparty relationships - Meet and exceed agreed-upon sales and activation targets. - Partner closely with Trading on onboarding, pricing, connectivity, and workflow improvements - Analyze market opportunities, track pipeline status, and produce clear sales reporting Qualifications - 7-10+ years in institutional trading sales (some overlap with crypto will be a bonus), with proven revenue-carrying responsibility - Strong background in institutional capital markets with demonstrable sales achievements - Existing crypto network or prior experience successfully growing a book of business in the ecosystem - Highly motivated and target-driven, with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills - Data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making - High sense of urgency, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to operate autonomously Talos is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer.  We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, sexual stereotypes, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.  Talos is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities in our recruiting process.  If you need any assistance or accommodations due to a disability, please let us know at [email protected].
