Partnerships for Parks (PfP) is a joint program of New York City Parks and City Parks Foundation (CPF). PfP supports and champions a growing network of community leaders who care for and advocate for neighborhood parks and green spaces. We equip individuals, organizations, and government partners with the skills, tools and resources needed to ensure these spaces remain vibrant and dynamic community assets.
The Partnerships for Parks Volunteer Program engages corporate partners through It’s My Park volunteer opportunities, centrally manages the administrative and logistical aspects of volunteer engagement across PfP departments, and supports priority initiatives through programming, partnership development and resource development.

- Manage and supervise a team of permanent and seasonal employees.
- In coordination with the Program Director, establish program goals and objectives, define project outcomes, and conduct program evaluations to strengthen and improve program deliverables.

- Coordinate the selection, design, procurement, and distribution of giveaways and promotional materials for the It’s My Park program.
- Establish and enhance volunteer opportunities for youth and other priority populations as determined by PfP leadership, including program development and coordination across PfP programs.
- Track and maintain information related to volunteer projects and community groups using Salesforce and other applications. Analyze program information and create reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Communications and other departments to support and promote volunteer programs and initiatives.
- Connect interested individuals, businesses, and organizations with appropriate volunteer and stewardship opportunities throughout NYC Parks, as needed.
