Chaplain - Hospice, In-Home PRN

CHAPLAIN - Hospice, PRN Pacific Hospice and Palliative Care | San Antonio, TX Pacific Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate, empathetic PRN Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual guidance, emotional support, and comfort to adult hospice patients and their families in their San Antonio area homes, during life’s most challenging moments.  We need only occasional assistance from a sincere, caring Chaplain who will serve as a long term backup to our fulltime Chaplain for visits and projects.  Pacific Hospice will provide you with premium visit rates for your time and efforts.  If you are able to offer occasional visits, patient calls and follow up as needed, we would love to speak with you!  Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a chaplain in an in-home hospice setting. - Bachelor’s degree in theology preferred; church lay pastor experience considered. - Must reside in the San Antonio area and have reliable transportation for home and facility visits. - Available for visits throughout the week, including weekends and possibly evenings. There may be occasional attendance of meetings in our San Antonio office - Current CPR certification  - Proficiency with computers: EHR systems such as Axxess, and communication tools such as Slack. - Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
