Busy Dermatologist office seeking a team player for a full-time clinical position.  The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high-quality patient care in a professional manner.  The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service. - Escorting patients to exam rooms - Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests. - Assist patients with aftercare instructions - Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff and providers. - Clean and restock exam rooms - Sterilize instruments - Scribing for the providers - Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow - The ability to perform phlebotomy - Candidates must consent to, and pass a criminal background check and drug screenJob Type: - Full-time: Mon-Thurs, 7:45am-5:00/5:30pm and Fridays, 7:45am-2:00pmExperience: - 1-2 years’ work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred but required - Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulationsEducation: - High school diploma or equivalent  All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
