Staff Cloud Security Engineer

Overview We are seeking an experienced Staff Cloud Security Engineer to establish and lead the security strategy for a growing digital health technology organization. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will take ownership of security across cloud infrastructure, applications, corporate systems, and AI-powered capabilities. You will work directly with the CTO and engineering teams to design secure, scalable systems while protecting sensitive patient information and ensuring regulatory compliance. As the organization's first dedicated security hire, you will build security processes from the ground up, drive SOC 2 and HIPAA readiness, and strengthen incident response and risk management practices. You will also help shape responsible AI adoption by implementing safeguards for machine learning applications and sensitive data.
